Ryterna Entry Doors in Red Deer

RD67 is the steel-skin entry tier with a 67mm leaf, conventional composite threshold and RC2 security. RD80 moves to a 92mm aluminium-skin system with a magnetic pop-up threshold and optional RC3 security. RD100 is the 100mm flagship, with the lowest published U-value in the range and an inside-opening concealed-hinge option. All three are made to measure.

Garage Door Fix does not currently publish a Canadian RD67, RD80 or RD100 price because the verified dealer matrix is not complete. Model, measured size, design, glazing, frame elements, lock, access control, finish and installation conditions all affect the total. We provide a written project price after those choices and the opening are confirmed rather than posting a placeholder number.

Ryterna publishes 0.94 W/m²K for a 1000 × 2200mm plane-leaf RD67, 0.69 W/m²K for RD80 and 0.65 W/m²K for RD100. Lower is better. These are entry-door thermal-transmittance figures, so we do not convert them into a North American-style R-value or pretend the test methods are interchangeable.

RD67 is published as RC2. RD80 and RD100 are RC2 as standard, with RC3 available as an upgrade on qualifying configurations. The final security result depends on the specified door, lock, cylinder, escutcheon, glazing and installation, so the written order must identify the complete security package.

RD80 and RD100 use a magnetic pop-up threshold. The sealing element rises when the door closes and drops into its floor groove when the door opens. Ryterna describes it as maintenance-free and designed to reduce obstacles for wheelchairs, prams and other wheeled traffic. The surrounding sill and finished floor still need correct drainage, support and installation.

The magnetic system reduces the fixed threshold obstruction, but the complete entrance should not be called barrier-free without reviewing the finished sill, interior and exterior floor levels, drainage and applicable building requirements. Accessibility is an opening-wide result, not a product label attached to one component.

The current manufacturer source publishes RD100 up to 1250mm wide and 2300mm high as a standard made-to-order limit, with larger sizes subject to feasibility review. We do not apply that number automatically to RD67 or RD80. Each model, sidelight arrangement and opening is checked against the factory specification before ordering.

Yes. The catalogue shows right, left and double sidelights, a top fanlight, and combined top-and-side arrangements. Glazing choices include clear, matt, patterned, tinted and etched-effect options. RD80 and RD100 door-leaf glazing uses triple-glazed P4A safety-glass construction on the inside and outside panes.

Yes, but electronic access is not compatible with every lock. Ryterna specifies fingerprint scanners and keypads with L3P+D&N+EM, L5PMA or L5PA lock systems. A standard mechanical L3P or L5P lock cannot simply accept a scanner later. The lock, wiring, controls and Canadian installation requirements need to be planned together.

Ryterna documents that capability with the compatible FSC3 Sommer system. It can control an entrance door, garage door and gate from one fingerprint within a correctly specified coordinated system. That is optional access-control hardware, not a standard feature on every entry door.

The current source explicitly confirms inward and outward opening for RD100. Its concealed Wala WU hinge is limited to inside-opening RD100 doors. Swing direction for every project must be checked against steps, landings, weather exposure, interior clearance and code requirements before manufacturing.

Yes. Ryterna manufactures garage doors, entry doors, aluminium gates and fences as a coordinated exterior family. Matching means related RAL colour, texture, glazing, accents and design language. It does not mean garage-door and entry-door numeric design codes are interchangeable, and it does not promise a factory match to an unrelated third-party door.

We record structural opening width, height and diagonals; wall and frame depth; sill condition and drainage; interior and exterior floor levels; swing direction; trim transitions; electrical needs; and space for sidelights or a fanlight. We also confirm model, design, colour, glazing, handles, lock and access-control choices before the factory order.

Current Canadian entry-door lead times and the entry-line warranty must be confirmed on the written project documents. We do not reuse an old shipping estimate or apply Ryterna's residential garage-door warranty to RD67, RD80 or RD100 without entry-door-specific support.
