Why does Pincher Creek wind change the buying decision?
On an exposed Southern Alberta property, the garage door is a large moving wall facing repeated pressure. A door can look solid in a showroom and still flex, rattle, or leak air if its panels, tracks, anchoring, fit, or perimeter seals are not suited to the opening.

Old Oak brings back the colour and visual depth people like about wood while using a modern insulated sectional door underneath. The Midrib profile adds clean horizontal structure without turning the facade into a heavy carriage-house design.
Each door has four narrow windows with brushed stainless steel frames. The rows mirror each other across the brick centre pier, pulling two separate openings into one composition. The glass adds daylight, but the doors still read as Old Oak rather than full-view glazing.
Why did replacing the old wooden doors make more sense than another repair?
An old wooden garage door can often be repaired one more time. A roller can be changed. A hinge can be tightened. A panel can sometimes be patched. What those repairs cannot do is turn the old door into a tested Class 5 system, rebuild every perimeter interface, or make two aging openings fit like a new measured installation.
